As a New York city moves into Phase 4 of the lockdown public Institutions are looking forward to opening again. Newyork is re-opening the public museums on August 24.

Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced that “museums, as well as another low risk indoor like bowling alleys, are likely open on August 24”.

Governor further said “ given the results that we have and given the progress, we have made we are going to make some changes and adjustments”

The Metropolitan Museum of Art on the fifth avenue stated on its website that it will officially reopen for members on August 27 and fall all other visitors on August 29.

The museum of Modern Art plans to reopen to everyone on August 27,  tickets will be available for purchase online,  according to the museum’s website visitors who have a temperature above 100 degrees will not be admitted and all visitors are asked to wear the mask and maintains social distance.
